Ok so basically, were doing a FAN MADE non profit Live Action Project

Were planning on re-enacting the whole anime series
It will obviously be in english [from the english subtitles in the anime NOT the english dub version were they re-word most of it]
So hopefully we'll be able to pull it off~

Were gonna need all the characters including the Investigation Team, Shinagami and the extras.

Were not gonna start filming until all the characters are confirmed~

Were gonna have to find actors/cosplayers at live around in same area, we dont really want ppl living far away, because that makes it really hard

SYDNEY Areas: Anywhere at the city or close to the city, also Chatswood, Warringah Mall, Manly, Ryde, Deewhy, Birkenhead point [These are only a few examples, there are alot of other areas that I haven't listed]

This will be filmed on a High Definition Sony Camcorder
And we'll probably end up making a Dub/ Pre-recorded track

[NOTE: One person can be more than one character, because deathnote cosplays are fairly easy]

We need the Shinigami to look as realistic as they can

First we need to organize all the characters. then ill be writing out all the scripts from the english subtitles. and email them to everyone, so they can get the lines down [and watch the episode if they like, along with it]

Shoot dates differ. it depends what episode your character comes into the series, and how long it takes to film each episode up to that point.

For filming, it depends on how many takes are done. filming one scene with your character doesn't have to be on one day. it can be done on different days,for different amounts of time, and doesn't have to be a full day filming. even if it's only a couple of hours or half a day. it's also depends on when the cosplayer/character is available to come and film

It also depends on how much the character is in the series

and this may sound like a negative comment, but shouldn't you contact the japanese broadcasting agency in order to get permission for something like this? after all, Deathnote is a copyrighted and licensed series. and even, as a bit of a side note, if you see any "deathnote" notebooks, they are actually bootlegs, because the licensees refused to allow anyone rights to make deathnotes, due to the repercussions of such things, e.g. making kill lists, etc. (something I heard online due to some people taking the series a tad too seriously when it was first released as a manga)

To anyone wondering. the entire thing will be dubbed, (in order not to get bad background noise ruining it) so you can either have the recording in the background while your acting [thats the best option] OR act it out and dub over the video when its done [Might have to be done in locations where you can't hear the backings] though it will take longer to sync it properly.
