Excellent, four definates for con + photoshoot! I think the weekend after would be best too.

Please also keep in mind that the photoshoot will probably cost some money. Beethy i think charges $300 for half day and does awesome touch ups, and Kris likes using the elements around to capture the shot and says his rates start lower, those are the two i know of.

Beethy rates say $50 at the con, however i don't know if that includes a group of people. I'll have to ask. But we'll be sure to get lots of photos on the day and people can further confirm for the outside con photoshoot.

just an update,
Squall costume pretty much complete for me, just need to work on gunblade

also, i may not be able to make the photoshoot the week folowing, sorry about that, let me know the times and all though coz i could try to get there

by the way, are you planning on entering the cosplay comp coz, i just read the info, registrations close next week, and one of the requirements is to send in progress photos of the costume you are making, i didn't take any photos while making the costume but i've got scrape material so I guess i can make it look like i'm making the costume

Thanks for mentioning it to her! I guess she's not that interested if she already knows a group for it exists. Maybe though we can hunt her down at the con and see if she's interested for the shoot?

Shortwarrior, i'm glad your cosplay's going well! You're one of the few we have fully confirmed for shoot, so we could reschedule to the Sunday or the weekend even after? But we can discuss this more at the con too.

As for entering a cosplay comp, i decided to do away with the skit because it was hard to confirm people. My costume is being commissioned so i can't enter based on outfit, but you feel free to enter yourself or feel free to organize if anyone else from this group wants to do it together.

I will do my hair properly on the day and have contact lenses and the scar on the face, but pretty much I'm all set, do you know how many confirmed for the photoshoot?

The others i haven't heard from for a while. Is your sister still doing Zidane? I'll send a pm to everyone and for mobile numbers as well. I'm not sure what time we should meet up. I'm hoping i can just grab Kris/photographer on the day as he captures lots of cosplays, but i might send him an e-mail as well and we'll all need to be together at the time~ not that it should be that hard to round our little group up. Maybe we'll all see each other in the line! That would be nice lol.

haha thanks sceleratus, i just stuck a plastic toy gun to a wooden cutout but it worked out alright ,
my sis should still be doing zidane, she's still working on it though
