I draw how I feel

« on: February 05, 2010, 21:47:14 »

A long war brings a gradual decline to the world. People disappear from towns, and fish cease to exist in the sea. In a town called Seize five girls guard a fortress and play brass vividly.

The plot revolves around a girl named Kanata Sorami. When she was all alone at a young age as a result of war, she found inspiration in a trumpeter she met. She decides to join the army and become a bugler, hoping to learn well since she is quite bad at it. She is assigned to the town of Seize (based on Cuenca, Spain), where she is taken care of by Rio Kazumiya, her bugler instructor who plays the trumpet, and the rest of the squadron.

I'm liking it a lot so far. It's certainly similar to K-On, but it hints at darker things such as the decline of humanity and such. I hope it delves into these more as it goes on, but staying lighthearted enough to avoid emo-whingery.

Lol yea Darren showed this to me when it came out and it's very similar to K-On.
Not sure if it's by the same creators but it's definitely worth the watch, i'm just not interested if there's no guitars xD

Watch it for sure. The characters and their design are very close to k-on, there's one that's similar to Mio called Rio. Hahaha. But it's good. Watch itt!!!

hmmm i'm really interested in this one.
I find the brass players in the army factor click really well...

I'm expecting it to be better than K-On.
For the musical and emotion behind the music factor.
