The old thread died long ago, so I'm resurrecting it with a new and clean one. Very Happy

This thread is dedicated for both the Anime and Manga series of Negima! Later on, I will put up a simplistic student profile of Class 2/3-A!

For now, continuing on from the last thread, after so many months of waiting, the 2nd episode of Ala Alba is finally out! Unlike the previous Negima! anime series, I find Ala Alba totally superior, simply because of its revised art work, as well as sticking to at least 90% of the Manga!

Hehehe... Kaede is awesome, especially her ninja skills! My favourite characters are Kazumi, Chisame, Yuna and Kotaro! Those people are awesome. Cool

Though I do warn you, the anime is so-so. Highly advisable you read the manga first before you watch the anime. Very Happy

On TV, there are three anime series out there:

- Mahou Sensei Negima! - This is the first anime series that went out and it spans for 26 episodes. Storyline goes different from episode 10 - 13. Production by Xebec.
- Mahou Sensei Negima!? - This is a spin-off series with a completely different storyline. Goes for 24 (or 26?) episodes, and production is by SHAFT.
- Mahou Sensei Negima!? Spring and Summer OVAs - Some parts do follow the manga, but not from the start of the original storyline. Production by SHAFT.
- Mahou Sensei Negima! ~Shiroki Tsubasa Ala Alba~ - Definitely follows the manga, but starts from Volume 19 and onwards. Three OVA series, with another three coming up later on. Production by SHAFT, and the artwork is completely changed, as it closely resembles to the original artworks of Ken Akamatsu in the manga.

This was the first manga I was introduced to by Pancakes of Doom and I liked it, this manga also got me hooked on anime and manga afterwards.

There is also suppose to be a new season or OVA coming out.
