I just noticed that I am now an "Over 9000" member type. Is this really necessary? This might promote more bad spam.

Does it have something to do with the increased PM inbox space? If so, thanks.

I've always been of the mind set that these needed to be put in but I'm part of the animania staff so I don't get to be classed as over 9000! XD
the titles seem to include:
OVER 9000-which is fairly self explanitory
Parole-which makes me laugh since nina is the first name with that title XD
Frequent Flyer which makes absolutely no sense to me.
trainee- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
and n00b for anyone under 15 posts.
Well that is fairly cool. I approve guys.

That would be the case but only for those over a certain ammount.
on another forum I belonged to they did that, but the average post count would barely breach 1000 so getting to 2000 I.E. the custom title rank mark was a major milestone there.
Now with titles for over 9000 covering anyone over 9000, and mind you there are only 13 people who qualify (and due to other reasons, they've been given different titles) you'd have to wonder what that number would be-would it be 10, 000 in which case the over 9000 seems slightly redundant or un-needed or would you make it higher in which case allot less people would actually qualify for it.will the changing of titles be a constant thing?
I would guess/think not due to the ammount of effort that would go into creating such changes, but don't quote me on that I could be wrong. it was most likely more a case of well these ones did not quite work out as well as thought or were filler until new ones were devised.
And if I'm honest these new ones are pretty darn cool.

Like the Personal Text under our avatars? Personally, I wouldn't mind it being scrapped and replacing the post count titles instead. That would be the case but only for those over a certain ammount. That is silly imo. |

well bjay your in support of the exact same thing, minus the fact that people have to work for it.
if its something people can change at will-hell we have that as you said underneath the avatar-BUT working towards a certain point where you earn a custom title is worth it.
I mean even if someone spam's every thread who posts day in and day out-it is still going to take them over a year to get to the point of custom rankage so they've have to be in it for the long haul to earn such a title.
I'll say this: If you have any ideas for what the 'post count titles' should be, the feel free to post them.
absolutely no gaurentee they'd be used or anything but at least its better then saying i don't like them come up with new ones.

Again, if you can think of some we're all ears. no gaurentee's that they'll be used or anything but so far everyone's griping about the lack of title's between 2000 and 9000 but no one has suggested any.Does it have to be stars? How about demon orbs? Lghtning bolts?
